AK Cat & Dog is entirely foster based. Our animals aren't held in shelters, but integrated into daily family life within our screened foster homes.
This approach allows us to evaluate, socialize, and give personal care to every dog or cat we take in. Our fosters are an integral part of the AK Cat & Dog team, providing valuable observation and insight on every animal in our care.
We are always in need of qualified foster homes, for both our young and senior, feline or canine rescues. If you would like to make a positive impact in our community by becoming a foster, please contact us for an application.
